WAIYAN Brief introduction

　　Waiyan Group is a company which integrates education and training, network technology, cultural media and electronic commerce. Its headquarters is Tieling, Liaoning Province. Its enterprises include Foreign Research Spoken Language School, Tieling Waiyan Technology Co., Ltd., Tieling Wauyan Media Co., Ltd., Tieling Waiyan Computer Training School, etc. Tieling Waiyan Media Co., Ltd. (formerly Tieling Waiyan  Bookstore) was established in 2000 with a registered capital of 10 million yuan. It is the president of Tieling Electronic Commerce Association. In 2004, FIR launched the network platform of "China Quyi Network"; in 2015, FIR launched the network platform of "Language of State", which is the core values of adolescents; in 2016, FIR established FIR Non-Heritage Industry Park and China Non-material Cultural Heritage Exhibition and Trade Platform (Non-Heritage Network); and in 2017, FIR Non-Heritage Museum opened. Foreign Research has been adhering to the mission of "studying foreign cultures and inheriting Chinese civilization", and striving to build an international century enterprise integrating education, science and technology and culture.

2000:
January, 2000: Tieling City Waiyan Bookstore was established. Its aim was affirmed to be “putting up the platform for communication between youngsters and outside world”
May, 2000: through cooperation with Tieling Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Tieling City Waiyan Bookstore established the first “foreign language corner” of Tieling.

2001:
March, 2001: held “Waiyan Cup” children story creation competition commonly with Tieling Cable Broadcast Television Station and Tieling Broadcast and Television Newspaper Office, etc.
June, 2001: Tieling City Waiyan Bookstore began to invite foreign teacher from America.

2002：
March, 2002: “Waiyan Online Bookstore” was opened.
May, 2002: Tieling City Waiyan Oral School was established.
May, 2002: “Benshan Online” as the largest northeast song-and-dance duet and comedy network station in China, i.e., (www.zbs.cn) was opened.
September, 2002: Waiyan Bookstore obtained “permit for Internet ICP value added service” issued by Ministry of Information Industry of China.
September, 2002: Waiyan Bookstore became a silver medal agency of www.net.cn.
September, 2002: Waiyan Bookstore reported the first international Folk Art Festival of Tieling China in cooperation with Tieling Branch Company of CNC.
October, 2002: in cooperation with Tieling Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Tieling Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and Tieling Daily office, etc., Tieling Waiyan Bookstore undertook the first “Waiyan Cup” Oral English Contest of Tieling City.

2003:
May, 2003: “Tieling Hotline” (www.mytl.cn) network was opened.
September, 2003: Waiyan School was developed by leaps and bounds, and the number of students exceeded 400.
December, 2003: undertook the second “Waiyan Cup” Oral English Contest of Tieling City.

2004:
March, 2004: Waiyan School —— stadium branch school was established.
June, 2004: undertook “June 1” teenage talent art evening party of Tieling City.
July, 2004: undertook the third “Waiyan Cup” Oral English Contest of Tieling City.
September, 2004: Waiyan School was developed by leaps and bounds, and the number of students exceeded 800.

2005:
January, 2005: new website of Tieling Hotline, i.e., www.mytl.cn began to be used.

May, 2005: purchased Tieling Shengxu Computer School (which was established in 1991), and set up Tieling City Waiyan Computer School.
September, 2005: Waiyan School—— Kaiyuan branch school was established.
October, 2005: Waiyan School——Lingdong branch school was established.

2006:
January, 2006: Waiyan School became “English power” Tieling Service Center.
April, 2006: Waiyan Bookstore became Tieling registration agency center for “yahoo China”.
November, 2006: Waiyan School——Longshou Huayuan general school was put into use.
November, 2006: foreign teacher center of Waiyan School was established, beginning to cooperate with Pearson Langman.

2007:
January, 2007: Tieling City Waiyan Science and Technology Co.,Ltd. was established.
May, 2007: Waiyan School obtained the title of “honest and trustworthy demonstration unit of civilian-run school in China emphasizing educational quality with dual guarantee”
May, 2007: Waiyan School, Waiyan Bookstore and Tieling City Education Bureau held the fifth “Waiyan Cup” national youngster Oral English Contest.
October, 2007: Waiyan Oral School became “national base for training 1+N compound talent”.

2008:
February, 2008: vice governor Li Wancai visited Waiyan, gave a basket as a gift and inscribed “an exotic flower in garden of civilian-run education” on behalf of Liaoning Province People’s Government.
May, 2008: Waiyan School was confirmed to be “a base for teaching and examination of CYLE by Xi’an Jiaotong University Press.
May, 2008: undertook the six “Waiyan Cup” National Youngster Oral English Contest.
October, 2008: Waiyan Education Group was preliminarily organized and established, and the number of students reached 2000.

2009:
January, 2009: Waiyan Education Group purchased “Karen English school”.

WAIYAN Spoken Anguage Training School

Our school divided 10 branch schools,having more than 80 teaching staff and over 3,000 students. The size of the school is about 8,000 square meters. The foreign teachers are from the United States, Canada and other countries. The Chinese teachers who studied overseas,or gained TEM 8 or had advanced translation talents. Our school has been established for four years, and trained over 10,000 students. About 3000 of trainees have gone to Japan, the United States and other countries. The number of students and teachers in "Infant English", "Child English", "Spoken English" and "Japanese", the number of the teachers and students in "Adult English" takes the first place in Tieling.
